Climate App c / The Apple App Store was launched in 2008, by 2010 Apple had trademarked the phrase 'There's an app for that' - declaring their intention to digitise and universalise all aspects of our lives into application solutions. With the #climatecrisis being the single biggest challenge that we now face, it remains questionable why 'There's isn't an app for that'. #FridaysforFuture

As an iteration of Weather & Climate this speculative provocation couples the built-in iOS Weather app with a dedicated built-in Climate app for all future iOS installations and upgrades. The app aims to visualise and simplify climate change 'forecast' data in the same way as weather data, and increasingly domesticate awareness and understanding of the longterm implications of current global warming trajectories.
