'The School of ___' presents a platform for alternatives to the current manifest evolution of Pedagogy as a Product (existing within an educational market place, created directly for market needs, and defined by the logics and measures of markets) and a return to the evolution of Pedagogy as a Practice.
'The School of ___' invites its audience to consider and contribute to an imaginary reconstitution of education through a series of short speculative essays. Each essay maps the ground of radical new potentials for how we might teach and what it is we might learn, whilst simultaneously defining the imagined territories of culture and creativity we might actively choose to next explore and inhabit.
'The School of ___' builds directly upon the critical consideration of pedagogy as a practice seen in the works of, amongst many others, John Dewey's My Pedagogic Creed (1897), Paulo Freire's Pedagogy of the Oppressed (1968), and most recently Dunne & Raby's The School of Constructed Realities (2014).
